linux on older mac powerbook 160

absolutely clueless on linux, but want to experiment-Is the debian 2.2 set up on the m68 group the only thing to use for older mac laptops? Any ideas of suggestions?

sorry.. but the powerbook 160 is not linux compatible to the best of my knowlege and here's why

I am in the same boat with my powerbook 520c, which has an MC68LC040 instead of a full MC68040
however i do beleive you might have some luck with the 68k bsd distributions...
