hi, i was wondering if anyone knew anything(!) about linux on mobile phones, and in particular, how to design the gui interface? I (as you can probably guess) dont know alot, but i just read an article on Trolltechs 'greenphone' and thought it might be fun

I would assume at least two things:
1. Whatever custom coding they do to make the phone version is probably not open-source.
2. There is no built-in way to see what the SW actually is--i.e. you would have to do some cludging to actually look at the code. (Which might be all binary)

If you want to customize a particular product, the first step might be to contact the mfg. and see what they WILL provide.
