Linux Mint Isadora, if I boot via battery mouse and keyboard freeze on Compaq laptop.

Using Linux Mint Isadora, if I boot via battery mouse and keyboard freeze on laptop. If I boot via mains cable, OK, but then if I unplug, it freezes. Linux is installed next to Windows 7.

Perhaps this is a problem having to do with the Intel SpeedStep, do you see anything about this in the BIOS? Check the BIOS and disable any power saving features and see if that helps.

Hi, are the keyboard and mouse USB? If yes, it will be related to USB autosuspending. Check into that.
