I have not been succsessfull in order to use hotsync with my new handheld PalmOne Zire 72 machine. I have installed latest kernel for my Fedora Core 2 but without any luck.
Yes I have been able to load that visor module. With my old Palm everything works and it uses USB port very well. But with this new Palm it cannot find any contact.
It can make some sort of contact but it cannot negotiate with the desktop computer.
Right, what program do you use for syncronizing your data? Is it a GUI? Do you have 'pilot-link' installed on your system? Many PalmPilot GUI:s uses pilot-link to sync with the palm, and pilot-link is actually a command line based program.
So, if you have pilot-link installed try to do this:
...ah, it might that you have the same problem as I had when I bought my Palm Tungsten. Could you please also write the version of you linux kernel. You can check the version by doing:
