I know your only 14 but dang, actually pay attention in english class and learn some spelling and grammer.

If the cd isn't bootable and you don't have access to a floppy drive, well... Your screwed and not getting windows back on it. If it has usb you can get/borrow someones usb floppy drive but most likely the computer won't be able to boot from that either.

Since the windows 2000 cd apparantly was bootable(?) you could try running fdisk in that and deleting everything. Then shut it all down and start the setup over again so its got a blank hard drive to work with.

Download a win 98 boot disk on a floppy

http://www.bootdisk.com/

run it and will install it to a floppy if you have a windows machine to get it with, boot to that and will get a dos prompt

And it's grammar I believe

try a bootable partitioner, like bootIt NG www.terabyteunlimited.com. That way you can wipe the hard drive, and then re-install

[1] *you're

Why pick on others, when your spelling/grammar really isn't all that hot either?

Cheers

It's bootable, however, it asks everytime you boot it up to install it on the harddrive, I alway say no, but if you want to go ahead. Wiping the hard drive with this utility takes, a while so be warned. Sorry to hear you're leaving linux, I personally have both linux and windows installed on my laptop. I also use debian, if you have a large enought harddrive, when you get windows, re-installed, think about dual booting. It's a great way to learn linux without losing windows.

Oh, and by the way, I'm 16, so it's not impossible to do.

first of all, can you burn CDs under Debian?

go to http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/purchase.html and click the button in the upper left hand corner, that says "DOWNLOAD" it will download a zip folder, unzip it, burn the iso image to a cd, reboot and it should work
