ive got mine with slackware, it takes some work though.. it is wierd.. like the little back button on the keyboard works fine, with no modifications. i setup new keys and alll that, and frequency modulations works with 2.6.11 and up kernels, on the celeron m. saves very little battery life. mine is dv1130us if you want to look it up and see how comparible it is to yours. ive been pretty happy with it. post on here when you run into problems, and the guys on here will be able to help you, and i can probably help you most, since i have been doing nothing but try to get absolutely eveything working on mine. i havent got the media card reader working, and dont know of any one who did, so if you are ordering, you might see if thye can leave it out., save some bucks. good luck.. none will be perfect out of the box, but not hard to get right.
