Latitude 505 and resizing


Hi all
Would you please advise resizing the HD

I have at work dell latitude 505 , hard disk is 30 G

I want keep for windows 20G
And for FC6 10
During the installation shall fix the / then var /home? Or let him to that automatically

Dose any one install FC6 at dell latitude 505 , any big problems ?

If I will use FC6 at work can I see the net and people on the internal net can put files in their folder can they see my net folder?
