laptop with wifi pcmcia network card

I have a Toshiba Satalite 1905-S303 Laptop With A D-Link DWL-G650 wifi network card and i'm haning problems getting it to work with Fedora Core 3.
I tried to recompile the Kernal to allow wireless network cards but that did not work. Does anybody have any ideas? Also does anybody know of a work around
to get the Toshiba software modem to work as i would like to stop having to run dual boot with Windows XP and just run Linux on my laptop

Check this link for a lot of stuff.

Look here for info on drivers for the D-Link card.

you might also look at using ndiswrapper and the windows driver for that wireless card
