Laptop with Linux or no OS?

I'm looking into getting a laptop... but I'm wondering who sells units that work well with Linux (Mandrake) or don't have an Operating system at all?

I know that in the past Walmart has sold computers pre-loaded with Linux, don't know if they still do and if that included laptops or just desktops.

Back when I was looking at Dell Laptops, I found, through their support site, that it was possible to order a laptop with no Windows Installation, but with Red Hat Linux. Not sure if they are still doing that though since the Fedora Core replaced Red Hat. Might be something to look into.

Yes they still do for about $500 with Linspire (formely known as Lindows) but they are very low end Laptops, I believe they have like 64MB of RAM on them...

I've gotten 2 used laptops and a desktop machine from retrobox.com. They have good prices, and a decent selection of business-class machines. You can also get them with no OS.
