Laptop screen washed out - Fedora 22 - Intel 5500 video card

All;

I have installed Fedora 22 on a new Lenovo X1 (3rd generation). It has an intel 5500 video card.

running lspci shows this:
00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation Broadwell-U Host Bridge -OPI (rev 09)
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Broadwell-U Integrated Graphics (rev 09)
00:03

The main laptop screen seems a bit washed out / high contrast. I've tried tweaking the brightness but it still seems washed out. External monitors look great. I have the model with the 1920x1080 FHD screen

Anyone have any suggestions? Is there a native intel driver for the 5500 card?

Thanks in advance

F22 should have it. Use this instead (and use[code] ... [/code] tags around output to maintain readability)
Code:
lspci -nnv | grep -i -A 10 vga

Code tags around your output will look like this <code>your output goes here</code> substituting square brackets for the angle brackets.

My experience has been that if a laptop screen appears washed out in Linux, then it also appears that way in Windows. I've never been able to correct the problem with a gamma adjustment. Perhaps YMMV.
