laptop + nfs+ portability without nfs
I've just got a labtop and have it hooked into my network's nfs. I'm looking for ideas/configuration to make the laptop portable and carry files I need (plus sync them when i return, something little more easily managed than drag and drop). Plus I have the home directory linked as the nfs mount, so some issues there as well. I don't always have a network connection when I carry it so, just checking on how other users may have set up theirs.
