laptop freezes after loading mandrake 10
 

my computer
Acer aspire 2000
1.4G pentium M
512mb ddr ram
40Gd Hdd
9200 ati radeon mobility 64mb
realtek 8139\810x network card
intel 2100 wireless lan mini pci card

Problem:
i have installed madrake linux 10 community
on bootup it comes up eth0 FAILED
eth0 being the realtek card
it continues to load and everything looks happy a couple of mins after loading the kde desktop it freezes completely!

Ok the prob is definatly the ehternet card(s) - wireless also maybe?!
if i run interactive bootup and disable network services it works fine.. however i am still looking how to configure the network card properly?!
