Kpilot broken?

I have a Palm T|X and really like it. I installed Jpilot and Kpilot to evaluate which program i want to settle into using and decided that Kpilot may be the better solution since I use KDE with Mandriva 2007.1.

However - - - after one good sync via Wi-Fi it is stuck and gets stuck everytime I start the program. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, did the same with all it's dependencies, and same result. I start the program and it shows 0% progress on a sync that I did not initiate. If I wait long enough the damon shows up but it is still stuck.

I tried Jpilot and it just works BUT I want to use Kpilot b/c we use most of the KDE organizer software (KMail, Kontact, etc).

And for anyone trying to hot-sync via Wi-Fi and not sure how - it is as simple as: (1) telling the Palm to hot-sync via network and Wi-Fi and then telling it the IP address of your computer and (2) telling Jpilot or Kpilot to not look for your PalmPilot at /dev/pilot but instead to look at net:any (no slash marks).

Thanks in advance,
Chris
