In my previous post as i mentioned that knoppix isnt loading in vmware, i installed a new version of vmware on my HP dv5000 laptop and now its working. But i m not able to connect to internet. I have a wireless lan here. Knoppix comes with a wireless driver utility but through it i am not able to connect. Is tht VMWare is creating some bridging problems. Some one plz help.
I have intel pro 3945abg wireless card.

set VMware you use a bridge for your vitrual ethernet and then in knoppix bring up your eth0(or whatever) interface(btw: check if knoppix loaded the module)
thanx coolb if i bridge for my virtual ethernet card it still doesnt work, but i have found out that we can use NAT for host only connection in VMware to give guest OS(knoppix) to connect thru wireless. I am still nt sure y is that why we cannot use wireless bridged networking on Linux. No Linux wireless driver supports it (yet?).
