Knoppix v5.3.1 boots but reboots almost immediately when it tries to load.

I use a Dell D505 laptop and earlier versions of Knoppix boot ok. But if I use the Knoppix v3.5.1 DVD it shows the boot: screen and starts to load DVD but then reboots!

I downloaded .iso from Knoppix using BitTorrent for the first time. K3b claims MD5 and DVD burning (done as root) was successful.

try some different boot options. perhaps "noapic"
The knoppix boot will have a button for help, i think with the possible boot options to try.

Thanks for the quick reply whansard, I'll shutdown and see if this works. I did try other options listed under F2 and F3 mostly video but even failsafe didn't work.
