Keyboard Not Working Login Screen Ubuntu 13.10
 

I have Ubunu 13.10 installed on a Macbook Pro 5,1. When I turn the computer on the keyboard does not work when I try to login in as the administrator. When I login as the guest user then log out and try to login as the default other user/ administrator it works.

I tried the solution of going to System Settings/Language Support/Keyboard Input Method System and changing it to "none" rebooted and that did not work. I tried "Ibus" and that did not work either.

Does anyone have a solution?

I did not try what you seggested. I went back to Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Ubuntu 13.X all demonstrate the same keyboard error.
