I had already posted to installing new xorg. but you told it requested CD for dependencies. If you are unable to modify the data, probably the best solution is reinstall Xorg.
Code:
#sudo yast2 --install x11-input-synaptics
so manually download x11 input synaptics. and install them.
see this page


select your version , bit type (32 or 64 ) and download rpm file.

you can install using

$su
password:
#rpm -ivh x11*.rpm

GOT IT !

Tried it :
# cd /etc/X11/
# cp xorg.conf xorg.conf.mine
# cp xorg.conf.install xorg.conf

# /etc/init.d/xdm restart

And got Gnome back !
