Just got done with the massive downloading required to update my Suse 9.0 system to Kde 3.2.2
Now, I notice, KLaptop, the little battery monitor in the task area, is gone. So I ran control center, found it. Told it to show in the taskbar, clicked restart. Nothing, doesnt show up.
The acpi controls work in control center, as there is a place for the klaptop settings, but rebooting, restarting, wont run KLaptop and make it appear in the task bar.
THe only reason this is an issue, is I want my screen brightness control back! Its nice to just click and dim/brighten the screen with a slider bar...
Yeah I noticed the same thing, and also ark (kdeutils3) wasnt working anymore, it complained something about the decompressor... Seems that kdeutils-packages are broken or something.
What i did was to remove the kdeutils3-3.2.2 packages and install the 3.2.1, at least that version works as expected, and the battery monitor appears every time.
