Kali Live boot struck at "Registered Protocol Family 1"

Hi there,
I have an brand new acer aspire E-15 laptop. I had an USB drive drive which was installed with kali linux live boot with persistence and is working fine on my desktop computer. But recently I tried to do live boot in my laptop, but the boot got stuck at "Registered Protocol family 1". Both "Live boot" and "Live boot with USB persistence" are getting stuck at this point. Please help.

There are several possible solutions posted to your "registered protocol family 1" error on Google...have you looked up your error and have you tried ANYTHING? Simple things like:
  • Adding maxcpus=1 to the grub boot line.
  • Adding acpi=off to the grub boot line.
..among others. Also, WHY are you using Kali??? Not really a good distro to use as a 'daily driver'.....

It may be it gets stuck with next step after "Registered Protocol family 1", it just never prints the real error because it is ... stuck. You may want to check on a working PC what the next thing is during boot. But this is something you probably already have done as an experienced Linux user, right?
