Just Installed Mandriva 2010 and all is good exceot this..

Updated from 2009 live to 2010 live via RPM

Running on MSI-1719 laptop
intel ich8 core 2 duo t7700
4 gigs ram
intel 4965 AGN wireless card

while booting in verbose i noticed that p80211.o fatally errors.
intel drivers are installed but can not configure and have to use wired net.

How can i fix this issue.

You updated from a "live CD" to another "live" release?

I don't think this is a good idea - live releases usually don't have much memory free for updates of this magnitude.

What were the fatal errors?

My suggestion: D/L the iso for the 2010 release, burn it, then boot from that.

sorry about that, i installed the live cd to my computer.

and after frist boot it told me about the update distro so i ran it.

the fatal error was p80211.o nothing else with it.this is during boot also if i try to start the wlan service in the service manager. I also get the error.

i did install the drivers for my INTEL 4965AGN card but the network manager says card not found.

my laptop does have kill switch, that also controls the bluetooth.

1st press wifi
2nd BT
3rd BT and wifi
4th all off

have seen some issues about this switch and card but not for my model laptop or distro. and the code entered will not work on mine.
