IRQ Problem after reboot (Compaq Pressario)
hi!
Whenever i do a "#shutdown -r now" i get following message at boottime, which causes my laptop to hang: Linux Tulip driver version 0.9.15-pre12 (Aug 9 2002) PCI: Found IRQ 11 for device 00:12.0 PCI: Found IRQ 11 with 00:07.2 when i do "cat /proc/interrupts" i get the following: CPU0 0: 239161 XT-PIC timer 1: 3111 XT-PIC keyboard 2: 0 XT-PIC cascade 5: 38293 XT-PIC ESS Solo1 8: 4 XT-PIC rtc 11: 13515 XT-PIC usb-uhci, Texas Instruments PCI1211, eth0 12: 18441 XT-PIC PS/2 Mouse 14: 19965 XT-PIC ide0 15: 9 XT-PIC ide1 NMI: 0 LOC: 0 ERR: 0 MIS: 0 It seems like the USB-Controller, the PCMCIA-Cardreader and eth0 share the same IRQ, which causes problems at reboot. The distro is Debian 3.1a (Kernel 2.4.27) and is installed on a Compaq Pressario 1800. What can I do? thank you! |
