Irda on laptop
 

i have an IBM t20 thinkpad p3 700MHz

i am running slackware 10.0 kernel 2.4.26 and 2.6.7 on it

i have got the OS to recognise my infrared port and also my nokia GPRS WAP enabled phone

it is also dialling out and is also authenticating my username and password

the prob comes when it has to log onto the n/w

/var/log/messages says
LCP terminated by peer

i reinstalled pppd also but i am not successful in logging onto the internet via my GPRS

any suggestions...:newbie:
