Intel centrino n6150 wireless support


Does linux support this driver for backtrack5? . And my adapter doesnt show on VMWare on removable devices. Please help..

Airmon-ng is for switching wireless card to monitor mode

try as root. FYI "most if not all commands are run as root in backtrack"

It is known that usb dont like running vm,s why not try the live cd

SPiky, what is the file extension to use when brute forcing a key? I have downloaded password list.

yes maybe an hour. i used gerix wifi-hacker. somehow i downloaded password list but it wont open. it didnt recognize the .txt file. what file extension should i use or to edit? its for educational purposes only.

I havn,t used that, if your cracking wpa it will take years to brute, even with a dictonary it is hit and miss, if the passwd is not in the dictonary it wont crack.
