I've got the HP Jornada 565 and I found a Linux distribution for it. It can be found HERE
The point is that the sound doesn't work and that it is not possible to install it via USB. IrDA doesn't work either, but I can live with that I have found this kernel wíth support for the same sound device (Philips UDA 1341 over L3 interface) but I can't combine the sound part of the seconde kernel with the first one because I am a Linux beginner. The handhelds.org gives This link to add files to the kernel. I would be very pleased if someone could install the sound drivers to the kernel or tell me how I can do it. I can buy a serial cable if there is absolutly no way to install linux with USB.
