Installing Knoppix from Live CD

I have got Knoppix Live CD with my Laptop that has win XP on HDD. Is there anyway I can install Knoppix on HDD? I tried installing Red Hat 9.0 but it doesn't detect HDD to begin with and I am not sure if it will work smoothly with rest of the hardware (AMILO Pro V2030, Fujitsu). Knoppix running from CD works well.

I don't know what level of experience you have so before you do a dual boot I strongly suggest you BACK-UP important info,use the search facility as was suggested including terms such as "fix mbr" and "XP boot floppy". That being said you can run the cd, open a root terminal, and enter:knx2hd.
