Install Mandrake 10.0 on Compaq Armada 1130T

I am trying to install Linux Mandrake Ver. 10 into a Compaq Armada 1130T with 32 MB memory and 1 GB hard drive. This laptop was running with windows 95. The install was running until the second stage then it kill the process, erase temp files and reboot. I have to run installation using the floppy / CD drive option since my CD is connected thru the PCMCIA port and the laptop does not allows boot up from it.

Your help is appreciated;
