Install DSL on laptop with no CD

Hi,

I have a Sony Vaio PCG-Z600LEK. Running Win2000

I was going to install DSL on it but I have no CD Drive. It has a usb port and I have a usb pen. It also has an ethernet port.

Would I be able to install from either of these. I want loose the win2k and install DSL on the hard drive

Debian Sarge installer page discusses installing from usb cdrom,usb flash or pendrive. Also checkout PXE install. I am sure DSL installer page has similar info. There is also option to install DSL to pendrive and use HD home partition. Consider Slax and Stux too.
Make sure you get working linux install before wiping out win2k.
