Thumbs up If you have display problems PLEASE READ!

I just replyed to a ton of posts and i found myself asking the same questions. So if you have problems with Xorg, KDE, or pretty much anything to do with X11, please incorperate the following information in your posts:

"lspci" or "lspci |grep VGA" output
/etc/X11/xorg.conf (or your Xfree config) [if you think its relevent]
/var/log/xorg.0.log file [the portion dealing with your problem]
and the model number of the device in question

Those things will give us a pretty good view of whats happening in your system.

also would a moderator please sticky this?
