Icepack won't remember hardware changes/won't recognize network card

Okay, I've installed Icepack 2.75, and i chose to ignore the network card setup.

For some reason, when I went back to set it up, it has selected a different card and will not change back...

How do I get this to work?

Icepack is good distro  but now is unmaintained  , its Web site is out of line  and there are no updates.

I would recommend you that use a distro with support.

Actually, for some reason, it fixed itself! I booted it up and the sound worked and the network card had support.

All I had to do is setup the internet!

BTW, how would I go around updating some of the packages?

Hello again... Icepack uses rpm's for the packages installation, thus there´s a possibility that a generic rpm can be used to update a package, but in my opinion the better way it is to obtain the sources and to compile them. If you do that, please let me know it.
