ibm thinkpad 600e + wireless

I need some feedback.

I picked up a thinkpad 600e real cheap on ebay a few months ago. Did a Slackware install and aside from getting the sound to work, (a total pain in the ass), everything else worked great.

Now I'm thinking of going wireless and would like to know if anyone has any recommendations or experiences with getting a wireless system set up on this model and with Slackware 9.1.

Any input appreciated.

Well, as long as you pick up a wireless card that has a chipset with linux drivers out, It should work quite nicely. I would highly reccomend an orinoco/lucent based card.
