IBM Think Pad T30 with Red Hat 9.0

Most of the dirvers does not get recognized and IBM has very few information on making this compatible with Linux, anyone has experince installing all wireless and video drivers?

if I remember well there are some webpages about using Linux on a thinkpad. I have a T21 and everything works fine...

What pieces of hardware are troublesome (exact names)?

Welcome to LQ. My 2 cents: I would say that IBM laptops and Linux are very compatible IMO (FYI as a T40 owner)

If haven't already seen it, you might want to check out Linux Laptops. for more info. Good luck with it either way -- J.W.

I use IBM A31p with SuSE 9.1 Pro. and Cisco Aironet 350 wireless card, everthing work out of the box.
