I have an IBM T42(type 2373) laptop, which has only one VGA output port. In order to use two external monitors I bought a PortReplicatorII(74P6733), which has one DVI-D(Single Link) output and one VGA output. Two external monitor setup should be fine according of friend of mine(Windows user), this quote
"When both VGA and DVI ports are used, the laptop's built-in monitor is disabled." and Googling. I have Radeon 7500 graphics card:
Code:

However, how to configure this extended-desktop setup under Linux. I use Suse 11.1(KDE, 2.6.27.25-0.1-default)? Is there a way doing this using xorg.conf(so it will be desktop environment independent)?
