IBM T42(type 2373) and Port Replicator II(74P6733): DVI and VGA at same time

I have an IBM T42(type 2373) laptop, which has only one VGA output port. In order to use two external monitors I bought a PortReplicatorII(74P6733), which has one DVI-D(Single Link) output and one VGA output. Two external monitor setup should be fine according of friend of mine(Windows user), this quote "When both VGA and DVI ports are used, the laptop's built-in monitor is disabled." and Googling. I have Radeon 7500 graphics card:

Code:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility M7 LW [Radeon Mobility 7500] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
        Subsystem: IBM ThinkPad T42 2373-4WU
Flags: bus master, stepping, fast Back2Back, 66MHz, medium devsel, latency 66, IRQ 11
        Memory at e0000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=128M]
        I/O ports at 3000 [size=256]
        Memory at c0100000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K]
[virtual] Expansion ROM at c0120000 [disabled] [size=128K]
        Capabilities: [58] AGP version 2.0
Capabilities: [50] Power Management version 2
        Kernel modules: radeonfb
However, how to configure this extended-desktop setup under Linux. I use Suse 11.1(KDE, 2.6.27.25-0.1-default)? Is there a way doing this using xorg.conf(so it will be desktop environment independent)?

However, do you have exact same hardware, but nVidia card and this dual-monitor setup with external monitors work?

I tried two external monitors(both ViewSonic's; one using DVI-D and other VGA) behind this Port Replicator II with extended desktop setup using Omega 3.8.252 drivers under Windows XP Pro. Everything worked fine. At the moment under Suse 11.1 I have SaX generated X11 config file, where device driver is "radeon".
Quote:
modinfo radeon
filename: /lib/modules/2.6.27.25-0.1-default/kernel/drivers/gpu/drm/radeon/radeon.ko
license: GPL and additional rights
description: ATI Radeon
author: Gareth Hughes, Keith Whitwell, others.
srcversion: 200AA04DC160B7F66C436DB
depends: drm
supported: yes
vermagic: 2.6.27.25-0.1-default SMP mod_unload modversions 586
parm: no_wbisable AGP writeback for scratch registers (int)

What drivers should I use under Suse 11.1(KDE, 2.6.27.25-0.1-default) to achieve the same setup as under Windows?
