Well, both the issue of you TRIPLE POSTING the same question, and telling us this is **URGENT** have been covered in your other two duplicates.

If this is a NEW installation, why don't you install the NEW Ubuntu, 11.04? That may solve your hardware problems right off the bat, since more hardware is supported now. Since this is **URGENT**...did you try Google??

Wifi problems in ubuntu 10.04

Unfortunately I ve been trying the last 6 hours on it.I ve allready gone through all the possible and fitting bugs to my problem, that they ve been recorded in the first 2 threads you ve send me with no results.that's why and the desperation at the end. also if have updated everything after instalment and I ve downloaded wicd too with no results.
I've tried reinstalting the broadcom modalises too with no result and I ve tried ruilit I think it's called? Another wireless manager (after of courses removing wicd) which it seemed to give an ip but it kept of connecting and disconnecting every few seconds. The last thread you send me is about ubuntu 11.04 I have 10.04 as I mentioned previously so although it was one of the first pages to come up when I googled it 6 hrs ago I though I better don't do anything since I had an older version. So now you can understand my desperation.it feels like nothing is going to work and I need the intrnet tomorrow...any more suggestion pleasee?

Aside from the suggestion to load the LATEST, current version of 11.04, no, especially since you're not providing details. Just telling us "no result", without error message(s), exactly WHAT you've tried, and the details of those steps, doesn't give us anything to go on. Without details, we can't help you.

thanks

the LATEST 11.04 version of ubuntu as it says in one of the threads you ve send me in your first reply seems to not work well with my Eeepc model (mentioned previously), other people had mentioned that it crashes a lot, so for what its being reported it wont solve my problem.
As far as the details i was as specific as i could be after trying a million things over. I would have to write an essay in order to do that and definetely i couldnt remember everything.if you have given me something specific and it wouldn't work i would have given you a second question with an 'error message'.
Anyhow i ve seen much less detailed posts previously that got specific replies despite of the results.
Thanks a lot for replying although.it was very kind of you although you could have been less sarcastic, there is no point of doing that with foreigners, especially when in need.
Take care and be happy.
best wishes maromar

Was not being sarcastic at all...without details, there is nothing ANYONE, ANYWHERE can do to help you. And ignoring LQ rules and posting the same question three times, then saying it's 'urgent', isn't a good thing to do on any forum where people volunteer their time, trying to help others out.

Not sure where you read that 11.04 won't work well on your system, especially since this (from the Ubuntu forums), says differently:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EeePC/Fixes
Code:
1000HE
This model should be working out of the box since Lucid Lynx according to
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/232173.
the only problem with that model was with the sound card, and it was resolved in later releases. Also, the Ubuntu forums point to a thread with a solution for the Broadcom drivers.
