HP49g+ usb generic driver
I´m trying, whitout success, to install the connectivity application HPtalx in SUSE 9.3 64bit. When I plug the calculator on USB port, dmesg shows the following:
usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4
The installation how-to says that I should receive:
usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4
usbserial_generic 1-1:1.0: Generic converter detected
usb 1-1: Generic converter now attached to ttyUSB0
The USB port settings, where the calculator is plugged, shows Driver=(none). It seems to me that I should install this driver. How do I do this ? Is it possible to do it without rebuilding the kernel ?
thanx in advance.
