HP ProBook 4530s overheating while using any linux distro

While on windows 7 my laptop works normally, the fan is quiet and the air coming out is a cold breeze...
But as soon as i start up any version of linux and just look at the desktop without doing anything the laptop starts to overheat. It gets to be as hot as if i'm playing some demanding game while on windows o.o

Another thing is to make sure frequency scaling is working on the computer.
