How to replace damaged Compaq Presario 2100 laptop with slackware + XP ?

Due to ligtening surge my laptop was damaged + needs to be replaced. Despite replacement value
insurance they only offer $ 500 cash value.
Can anyone assist to get a fair replacement value and replacement laptop loaded with slackware and
windows XP ?
Presario laptop model 2183US about 4 years old. Has to be partitioned and ready to go as I am not able to program.

This site is not really the best place for legal advice but, if you post the exact terms of your policy, someone might have some hints.

You can buy laptops pre-loaded with Linux from several different vendors---eg Emperor. I would think they would also set up dual-boot for a price.

You don't need to know how to program to install operating systems. (But you do need to do some tweaking to get Linux running on a laptop.) If you don't want to "get under the hood", what are you doing with Slackware?
