how to add startup tweaks

Hey, i just finished setting up my laptop with suse enterprise desktop 10.1 pre-release. First thing i should say is it's realllly nice and almost everything worked perfectly with my compaq r3000. Anyway, the two things i needed to tweak were:

typing synclient MaxTapTime=0 in the terminal to turn off tapping on my touchpad

setting up my wireless with ndiswrapper.

The only thing is to make it run the touchpad tweak and ifup automatically when i start up linux. How do i do this? Can i just make a shall script that says those two commands and put it somewhere? Sorry, i'm rather new to linux Anyway, any help would be really appreciated! Thanks everyone!

Hey, i just figured out on another forum how to run ifup automatically through /etc/init.d/boot.local, but i still can't figure out where to put the synclient one. It needs to run after the touchpad and i would assume, window manager, have started. Any ideas anyone? Thanks again

why not use this to control your touchpad?

Code:
synclient TouchpadOff=0 Touchpad is enabled
synclient TouchpadOff=1 Touchpad is switched off
synclient TouchpadOff=2 Only tapping and scrolling is switched off
that way instead of working around, you can actaully turn off the tapping.

as per getting it to run at start, write a script and set it to auto run with your window manager.

Thank you both. I actually just added it as a runtime command through gnome though in the control panel. I sort of forget where actually, but thats the gist of what i did anyway. As far as the second solution of turning it off directly, that would also disable scrolling which i really like. This works extremely well and now that it runs at startup its flawless. I'm glad to say i've got suse running as near perfectly as i can think on my laptop (compaq r3000) now.
