First off all, I have a Dell C600 with Red Hat 9. Everything is working fine, even the stand by functionality when the lid is closed and reopened.
But I would like do *prevent* the laptop to stand by when I close the lid. It has been working before but then one day I detected that the laptop turned itself off when I closed the lid. I don't know why it worked before and why it doesn't work now. Could it be some new patches I installed from Red Hat? Could it be something I've done with the small battery/charger icon in the task bar?
Anyone have a clue how to prevent the turn off/stand by functionality?
