hibernate not working any more
 

i have slak10 installed on a acer laptop. acpi is buggy (they used microsoft code!!!) and i had to fix it manually. hibernate worked properly for a little while, then (after i changed some configuration somewhere, i guess) it stopped working. what happens is that it does not save the data on the disk while hibernating and it never goes power off. what can the problem be?
