hi, me again. im afraid to ask this, because i have read others post, and maybe somebody will laugh.
i've downloaded the ubuntu windows installer, and all the installation process went ok, but when i reboot, and select ubuntu operating system, it starts fine, but then it shows a message saying that no tty jobs are running, and then i have to restart.
but if i select, ubuntu, with another kernel version, it starts fine but with a big screen resolution, and i cant see nothing.
i wish you can help me, and please, dont laugh at me
We were all new once upon a time. Can you tell us exactly what the option that doesn't do what you want says ? How is that option labeled exactly I mean ? We can help you get the correct resolution for the option that does work, I think. Exactly how is this option labeled in grub ? What resolution is it right now, and what do you want it to be ? What hardware do you have ? By that I mean what video card do you have ? What sort of monitor ? What version of Ubuntu are you using ? Hope to hear from you soon...
