hello happy holidays,

I tried to run the livecd linuxos preview 8. everything was fine then, right after, loading compressed loop module, this happened:


loading compressed loop module [loaded]---loaded in green

mounting loop image on /initrd/loopfs: mount: Mounting /dev/loop/0 on /initrd/loopfs/ failed: invaid argument [failed] --- failed in RED

all this in red---


error: unable to mount loop filesystem dropping you to limited shell

commands were:
losetup /dev/loop/0 initrd/cdrom/livecd.sqfs
mount -r -t squashfs /dev/loop/0 initrd/loopfs


what happened, is there a way around this? the md5 check sum was fine
i've used pclinuxos 2k4 before no problems
Although I'm still in the just learning phase...so a newb I am..

btw...Dell inspiron 5150 is the notebook PC I use!

I mistakenly recorded it on a CDRW, as was pointed out to me on another forum

Now it goes past that error, with no problems, but then I get

cannot find all files related to the loop filesystem???

Anyone???
