help need regarding wireless networks

hi everyone, i am new here as well as new to linux so please be patient with me.

I am running linux redhat fedora on a centrino based notebook and everything is fine except for two things

1-first it doesn't detect my internl wireless nic
2-second it doesn't detect my internal fax modem

if anyone can solve this for me than thanx a million as I can't connect to the internet with that notebook

Wireless network interfaces sometimes won't install automatically because of proprietary drivers but we should be able to help ya. We just need some information on the chipset it uses. Do you know the brand or chipset? Is it internel or is it card based. Type "lspci" (without quotes) in a terminal and copy/paste the output here so we will have some information.

As for your internel fax modem, it is most likely a winmodem. Those can be real tricky to set up (if possible). Again, lspci output will help us with that too.
