Help Mandrake 10 Install

I am installing mandrake 10 on a Compaq 1130T Armada. It process up to the second stage then kills session and reboot.

Any help is appreciated.

Does the Armada 1130T use AMD 64 or X86 Architecture. Did you download the right install disk?

It has X86 architecture. From where can I download the right install Disk??

You might try hitting F1, and entering the option noacpi.
Or you could enter 'rescue' and see if the rescue system boots up.

When I asked if you downloaded the right install disk, I was referring to the architecture and whether you downloaded the single or mp versions. The suffix of the disks should be '.i586.iso'. I downloaded the files from an ftp site and burned a dvd, so I didn't install from an install disk.
