Angry help i am drowning


i have a hp /compaq nx7010 notebook it has a agere ac97 modem and guess what i have flipen tried almost anything to make this internal modem work on suse 9.0 with no luck .
has any one out there got any idea of how to install this modem
this is getting me down !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

can you cat it?

Does it connect by PCI?

Then you can scan the pci bus.

Also have a more informative title next time, you made me think you were drowning in dDos malformed IP packets .

The smartlink modem drivers work fine for this modem.

They are probably available as rpms for SUSE... or you can download the software directly and compile/install yourself:
