Help finding a new laptop

I'm looking to pick up a new laptop within a month or two and I've been browsing online a bit. However, it is hard to find sites that offer laptops without an OS already installed. Actually without Windows installed.

Anyways, does anyone know of some sites which offer laptops without an OS already installed?

As far as I know, with laptops it's either not possible or at least damn difficult here :) desktop pcs are slightly easier to find, though they're not everywhere either. My best bet would be to try and use web search engines to find a store with laptops without preinstalled OS, but you might have to give up and buy one with Windows. Try to buy an XP-one or something, they're cheaper ;)

Btw. IBM laptops are nice. Well, not exactly all of them, but there are a few models that really are a whole lot better than some others..

IBM laptops are definitely built to last, and can be found relatively cheap on ebay (since alot of businesses use them and sell them in bulk to re-sellers).

I myself have a Dell Inspiron e1405. Ubunutu 7.04 installed with 95% of all hardware working at the first start up (the exception being proper resolution for the widescreen display, but a quick apt-get of the 915resolution package fixed that right up). Dell's laptops are fairly inexpensive brand new and I think you can buy them online with no OS installed.
