gui not working slackware 13.37 in my hp dv6 laptop.!!!
 

hello experts,,
actually I brought a laptop hp dv6 i7 3rd gen. 6gb ram, and hybrid graphics with intel/nvidia gt 630m..
I am not able to run the gui of the slackware...thgouh it is installed successfully and it works fine for the login prompt,...
As soon as i try to execute "startx" it freezes...
Is this a problem with hybrid graphics....kindly help me out!!!!!

finally it is working!!!
I first stopped the nouveau module and then installed the nvidia geforce gt 630m graphics driver from the site and followed the installation..then
"xorgsetup" and simply set the color depth and other options!!!

now "startx" is working as it should!!
