Gsynaptics And ATI
 
Heya, Im a total linux newbie. Got Fedora Core 4 installed on my laptop (rather painfully if I might add) and after a bit of time I got the ATI drivers in. Now onto the touchpad...installed Gsynaptics but when I go to add the line to xorg.conf I cant find a single indication of Gsynaptics even existing on the machine. Laptop specs below, any help would be greatly appreicated.

Im not sure about the command to alter the xorg.conf information in fedora, but i think its something like "xconfig". This should ask you some questions about the display and options for the screen. After this it would rewrite the x configuration file.
