I would use the vesa or radeon driver then install this;
http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/l...ux-radeon.html
look at
cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf | grep Driver
to see what driver you are using now, here is the section to change, this is mine;
Code:
Section "Device"
        ### Available Driver options are:-
        ### Values: <i>: integer, <f>: float, <bool>: "True"/"False",
        ### <string>: "String", <freq>: "<f> Hz/kHz/MHz"
        ### [arg]: arg optional
        #Option     "ShadowFB"           	# [<bool>]
        #Option     "VGAClocks"          	# [<bool>]
        #Option     "KGAUniversal"       	# [<bool>]
	Option      "AllowGLXWithComposite"  "True"
        Option      "RenderAccel"            "True"
#       Option      "backingstore"           "True"
        Option      "AddARGBGLXVisuals"      "True"
        Option "TripleBuffer"                "True"
	Identifier  "Card0"
	Driver      "nvidia"
	VendorName  "Unknown Vendor"
	BoardName   "Unknown Board"
	BusID       "PCI:1:0:0"
EndSection
if it is working OK now it is best to save it;
cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.working
before you start messing with it in case you mess up somehow...

comprookie2000 thank you for your solution
But I still confuse about the ATI Driver Installer.
I configure the ATI Driver into 4 packs for F7
but when one of the packs need an old version of gcc... ... I think there is some thing wrong
so... would you please show me the way of installing ATI Driver Installer ==! Thank you very much,from deep of my heart...

I have been reading this thread, and I dont quite understand what you are trying to do here. This is how I install the drivers on my debian system - it may well be slightly different for you.

Make sure you are in X before beginning - it is easier this way (use the command startx for this if you are in the terminal). Download the file from the link shown on the link to the page comprookie2000 posted. While this is going, download and install the kernel-headers package for your distribution. When the download has completed, ensure the ati executable is executable by executing in a terminal:

Code:
chmod +x ati-driver-installer-8.40.4-x86.x86_64.run
Then run

Code:
./ati-driver-installer-8.40.4-x86.x86_64.run
Follow the onscreen instructions and once the installer has completed, check /usr/share/ati/fglrx-install.log for errors:

Code:
cat /usr/share/ati/fglrx-install.log
If you had an error free installation, move to the terminal by pressing ctrl+alt+f1. Login as root and run:

Code:
aticonfig --initial --input=/etc/X11/xorg.conf
Next, restart your computer:

Code:
shutdown now -h -r
You should boot up with the ati driver fully configured and working.
