Good live, bad install: fluxflux eee 2008 09 on Eee 901

I run the fluxflux-eee Live USB and it works fine.
I try to format the hard drives and it BICKERS LIKE MAD giving me 3 error popups for a partition every time I unmount it (then it mounts every OTHER partition that isn't mounted).
Fail, etc. etc.

I get it installed, then nearly every major component (even the Display Manager) can't be found by the system on boot.

So I get localhost login on my screen and nothing works.

I picked the 901 specific Live/Install too.

Do yourself a favor and install Debian it runs great on the Eee.

Only takes my 701 20 seconds to boot to LXDE, even with wireless on I get at least 3 hrs of battery time.
