Question GNOME Battery Applet Reading Incorrectly

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Hi,
I've just installed the new Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook remix. It seems to be working fine so far except for the GNOME battery applet. When the AC-adaptor is unplugged it just constantly reads 100%. However, when I plug the AC-adaptor in, it can tell me that my battery is charging and the percentage that is charged. My netbook is an Acer Aspire One A150 model.
Thanks in advance

Well, I just installed the "kpowermanager" of the Synaptic Package manager and now the GNOME applet seems to be working fine even without KPowerManager running :S

Yeah the battery monitor gets a bit weird from time to time on me too. I don't know exactly what the problem is, and most of the time it happened with 64bit kernels that would loose time too. I always double check to see if the battry low light is flashing on the system when the GUI monitor shows it low. It works 80% of the time
